Coco Vail Beer Hall starts from the experience of the owners at the United States. After living there for a few years, they wanted to bring a piece of Southern California to Barcelona and started this project. Opened on 2016 summer, we find a large space a few steps from Paseo de Gracia, on Aragon street. Decorated with wood has a bar at the end. A bar thought for the employees more than the clients. Behind it, we find a line of beer artisanal taps, one of the identity signs of this space. We also find a big screen to watch sport events, visible from almost all points.

Artisanal beers have an important weight, and they offer 24 different varieties, in the form of pints o half’s.  But of course, they also offer an original menu of dishes to accompany those great beers. We will find a big choice of suggestively named hamburgers that remind us the most typical of the USA. We also find a section, the surfer corner, were a nice salad can be find for the healthie’s. Sandwiches, burritos, different chicken wings from various countries (10,90€) and the Falmmkuchen, rare to find in Barcelona, are some of the other options.

As a dessert, ask for the Pizza Cookie (7,5€), recommended for 2 or 4 persons and in various flavors. You’ll be surprised by its presentation and flavor.

Even if it wants to resemble to a Beer Hall, do not forget that you are in Barcelona. That is why some good patatas bravas are a must (7€). All these plates are thought to be shared. Even if it is at the heard of Barcelona, the prices are still affordable, being able to have a good meal for some 20€.

Coco Vail Beer Hall is a nice place to go when visiting Barcelona and have a moment of nostalgia. For locals, is a different place to enjoy from a good American meal with a nice beer.

T2 No smoking and no other food shops
Really not happy with this airport. Travel assisstance takes forever to get to you, language barriers and you're not advised of any area restrictions or limitations before during or after security. Security rush you through with"""rapidos"" which honestly made me want to cry with all the attention while struggling with a toddler in pushchair and autistic elder child . To find out then travel assistance don't stay with you, they leave and come back just before boarding if they bother to. Can't smoke or buy any other food other than sandwiches which where spotted with black bits?? Cant smoke after security. the last leg of our holiday and its been shite
